![]() The oppositions often lead the native to experience each side of their polarities while repressing the other and experiencing it through other people or events. This mystic rectangle is a quartet with two unmerited wounds, two sources of revolt, three transpersonal energies, and the kingpin of convention and social structures. At another level, Saturn adds earnestness, resilience, and resolve to planets it contacts, and the sextile shows a supportive role. The sextile indicates that the native is probably able to experience that wounding and to learn from it. First, an authority in the native’s early life (Saturn), likely father, wounds the native, starting the Chironic process. Saturn sextile Chiron has multiple layers of meaning. This native has a wide spectrum of connection to the universe: Uranus is often experienced as abstract because it operates outside Saturn and anything established/traditional while Lilith has an earthy connection to the universe (wild). Lilith’s connection is to the universe through its elemental energies, wildness. This is likely to give the native a strong sense of her own ethic: Uranus follows its own transpersonal rules and principles, i.e., not Saturnian, where Lilith’s sense of truth is often experienced transpersonally, too, but in a different way. Uranus sextile Lilith is dynamite as it connects Uranus’s challenge of authority, desire to revolt, and surprising insight with Lilith’s wildness. As with the Saturn–Uranus trine, the native is more likely to survive and learn from these wounds, and if she reaches Chiron’s stages of recognition and gratitude, she is likely to have a strong desire to help others heal moreover, her approach to healing is likely to have an unconventional, wild wisdom about it. Saturn Trine UranusĬhiron trine Lilith is a particularly poignant connection because both symbolize different kinds of wounds that were undeserved. With this placement, the native’s natural connection to the wild is probably discouraged or otherwise suppressed. In addition to the Lilith process, Lilith symbolizes one’s connection to wildness, the universe in its raw form, which precedes “civilization” as detailed in On Lilith’s Experience of Leaving Her Partner. ![]() It is likely that she endures the violation until she becomes old enough to leave. Lilith in 4th is likely to manifest through the father (4th house) who limits the native, violates her somehow. The mother is limited, not supportive, not nurturing, cold, or otherwise absent. If it’s in the 10th, the native’s mother tends to have the effect of amplifying the native’s Lilith experience, probably through her lack of support. Saturn manifests through the house where it is domiciled. The authority may not be the biological father but another authority figure. He probably violates one or more of her core principles. Saturn is the champion of earthly rules and structures at all levels, so when it is opposition Lilith, it amplifies Lilith’s process within the life of the native: Saturn often represents the native’s father experience, so the opposition tends to show father’s oppression of the native in some way. The pattern persists though the native’s own 7th house relationships in which she may be the victim or possibly the victimizer however, this is also the area of the native’s greatest healing potential. The native is wounded by the institution of marriage somehow, perhaps by the caregivers’ relationship (Chironic wounds often start when the native is young). With Uranus in 1st, Chiron is usually in 7th, where it indicates wounding involving I–Thou relationships. She may be blocked or underprivileged somehow in her attempts to expand her mind through sources of university, travel, or contact with the “foreign.” With Uranus in the 3rd and Chiron in 9th, the native will probably experience unwarranted wounding in her early life that involves the philosophy, religion, and social rules of her family or neighborhood/close community. ![]() In the 1st, the native tends to reflect a Uranian vibe, be ahead of her time, have revolutionary principles and inventions, etc.Ĭhiron symbolizes a journey as I explained in Chiron’s Wound and Healing Process, and this tends to be centered in the house in which it sits. ![]() If it sits in the 3rd, it will tend to expose social structures within the family, the neighborhood, close community, basic schooling, etc. Its main targets are ossified structures, rules, organizations, and ideas. As I detailed in Reflections on Uranus, Uranus serves to disrupt our life structures wherever it sits on our charts.
